Nathan Outlaw is a celebrity chef who runs the two Michelin Star Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Port Isaac. He has also written two critically-acclaimed cookery books.
Between 1998 and 2000 he worked with Rick Stein and Paul Ripley in Padstow and it was at Stein’s restaurant that he fell in love with seafood. He then went on to work at the two Michelin-starred restaurant Lords of the Manor with head chef John Campbell.
Nathan took over the restaurant at the Marina Villa in Fowey, opening his self-title restaurant in 2007, and the restaurant remains the only specialised fish restaurant in the UK to hold a Michelin Star.
Nathan’s vision for his restaurants is to see continual progression, and to offer each customer the best seafood, cooked to the highest standard. He is a passionate and proud ambassador of everything Cornish.
In 2020 Nathan rebranded the restaurant as Outlaw’s New Road.
In 2009 The Good Food Guide described the celebrity chef as making “discreet but powerful waves” in the industry. The following year, Nathan competed in the BBC’s Great British Menu and appeared on Saturday Kitchen.
Nathan Outlaw is available for speaker engagements and personal appearances from Useful Chefs.
