Lisa Riley is a popular actress and television presenter who became a household name as feisty barmaid, Mandy Dingle in the ITV1 soap Emmerdale from 1995 to 2001.

She trained at the Oldham Theatre Workshop from the age of 9. After some early roles including extra work on Coronation Street and an appearance in Butterfly kiss, her first breakthrough role in UK television was as Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale.

In 1996, Lisa won the National Television Award for Most popular newcomer for her work in Emmerdale.

She went on to present the popular You’ve Been Framed show from 1997-2002, taking over from the former presenter, Jeremy Beadle. She raised viewers figures to more than 13 million at it’s peak in the process.

Other Work

In 1999, Lisa appeared opposite a young Jack P Shepherd in Pull out more fags. The same year, she had a cameo role in the music video When the Going Gets Tough by Boyzone.

In 2000, she appeared in ITV’s Christmas Pantomime Alladin opposite stars such as Patsy Kensit, Julian Clary and Paul Merton. Then in 2001 she appeared in a commercial for Heineken.

Then in 2011 she played a small role in the UK produced children’s show ‘Young Dracula’. In episode 2 “The Enemy” Lisa played the role of Goody McEldrich.

In 2012 Lisa appeared as Nadia Hicks in Series 2, episodes 1 and 2.

On stage, she has appeared in many Pantomime’s and in UK tour’s of The Play What I Wrote, The Vagina Monologues opposite Sharon Osbourne and The Naked truth.

Lisa’s on-screen presence, combined with her charismatic nature, make her a brilliant choice for a number of corporate functions and endorsement projects.
