Alan Carr has won 2 British Comedy Awards, 2 National Television Awards and is also the recipient of a BAFTA TV Award.

Radio

Alan made his radio presenting debut on Christmas Day 2007 for BBC Radio 2 as part of their Festive Highlights. He presented the show Alan Carr’s Christmas Box.

In 2009 he began hosting Going Out with Alan Carr, a new show for Radio 2. The show broadcast every Saturday evening from 6pm-8pm.

Stand-Up

Alan Carr performs stand-up regularly, on tour and on television. He has featured in three Edinburgh shows. Then in 2007 he toured throughout the UK. He followed this with a DVD entitled “Tooth Fairy Live”.

He has also performed at the Apollo Theatre in London and featured in the Royal Variety Performance.

The Friday Night Project

Alan became well-known to a wider audience for hosting The Friday Night Project with Justin Lee Collins.

The show featured comedy sketches, hidden camera stunts and also a game show where someone from the audience is selected to win prizes.

Chatty Man

Chatty Man is a BAFTA award-winning British comedy chat show. It features interviews with celebrity guests, sketches, topical chat and music.

The show was first on as two pilots in late May 2009. The first episode drew in a total of 2.15 million viewers. To date, the show has broadcast 14 series and 154 episodes. The eleventh series consisted of 18 episodes. This made it the longest series to date.
