Despite her passion for food, Marianna initially pursued a degree in Spanish literature. However, her true calling beckoned, and she found herself drawn to the culinary world. Her father’s introduction to Lino Scarallo, head chef at Palazzo Petrucci, provided Marianna with the opportunity to immerse herself in professional cooking, where she discovered her true passion.

Mentorship and Culinary Philosophy

Under the guidance of Chef Lino Scarallo, Marianna learned the importance of using exceptional local ingredients and the art of simplicity in cooking. In 2009, Marianna embarked on a new culinary adventure, opening Ristorante SUD in the quiet suburb of Quatro.
