Snoop Dogg is an American rapper and media personality. His fame dates to 1992 when Dr. Dre featured him on his debut solo single, “Deep Cover”, and then on his debut solo album, The Chronic.

Death Row Records released Snoop’s debut solo album, Doggystyle, in November 1993. The album debuted at number one on the popular albums chart, the Billboard 200, and on Billboards Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

On November 19, 2018, Snoop Dogg got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He released his seventeenth solo album, I Wanna Thank Me in 2019.

Snoop has since sold over 23 million albums in the United States and 35 million albums worldwide.

Since 2005, Snoop Dogg has been operating a youth football league in the Los Angeles area. He is a coach in the league, and Netflix documented one of the seasons he coached in the documentary Coach Snoop.

In 2005, Snoop Dogg founded the Snoop Youth Football League for at-risk youth in Southern California. In 2018, it was claimed to be the largest youth football organization in Southern California, with 50 teams and more than 1,500 players.

Snoop is an active entrepreneur and investor. In 2009, he was appointed creative chairman of Priority Records. In 2015, he became a minority investor in his first investment venture Eaze, a California-based delivery startup.
