K-pop idols remain at the top of luxury brands’ wish lists, and Pomellato has appointed Krystal as its first Korean ambassador.
Chrystal Soo Jung, the singer and actress, made her debut in 2009 as a member of the South Korean girl group f. (x). She was born in San Francisco but currently resides in South Korea. She was a member of SM Entertainment’s project group SM the Ballad. Krystal began acting in 2010 and most recently appeared in the 2021 KBS2 drama “Police University” and the romantic film “Crazy Love” last year.
The Milan-based jewelry brand, founded in 1967 and owned by Kering, has worked with a number of women to front its campaigns over the years, and has dedicated its communication to women’s causes.
Last year, for the fifth chapter of its Pomellato for Women campaign, the brand collaborated with Jane Fonda, who has been a part of the project since its inception in 2018; Italian actress and director Valeria Golino, recently seen in “The Morning Show”; Chinese actress and producer Yao Chen; Australian actress, writer, and producer Rebel Wilson; and American actress, singer, and trailblazer Michaela Jaé Rod.
Krystal is photographed as the Pomellato ambassador wearing gold Iconica jewels, sky-blue Nudo creations, and diamond-studded Catene pieces.
