British glamour model and author Katie Price has announced she’s to launch a couture shoe collection, Katie Price – The Gold Collection, in collaboration with Australian designers Sistar Shoes.

Katie Price is set to fly in to Sydney, Australia on Monday 15th of July 2013, for the World-Wide launch of her brand new Crystal Couture shoes collection “Katie Price – The Gold Collection” by Sistar Shoes,  held at Internationally renowned nightlife venue Marquee at The Star on Friday 19th July 2013.

Katie Price is extremely excited to return to Australia saying “I have always loved Australia and had many offers over the years, but with my various commitments I haven’t really had the opportunity to be hands on with a project from the ground up, which is something that is really important to me. I am extremely excited to be able to return to Australia. The Australian hospitality is unparalleled to any other country and I would love to continue building a personal and working relationship with Australian companies and the people.”

Sistar Shoes is an up and coming team of designers (Connie Gerakis and Samantha Dionisiou) who started their journey only twelve months ago. Whilst they might be a young company they have already made their mark in the Fashion industry both nationally and internationally, by dressing some of the world’s biggest stars including Paris Hilton.

This will be the first collaboration for Katie Price with an Australian company, and the first collaboration for Sistar Shoes with a celebrity.

“We are extremely excited to be working with Katie Price on this collection, Katie Price is a wonderfully successful business woman with a very unique, sexy and sophisticated sense of style. This collection will reflect this whilst maintaining that exclusive A-List feel.

Katie goes on to say, “When I was first introduced to Sistar Shoes I was astounded by the quality and unique designs, I have always loved working with designers that think outside the box and express their creativity in a way that showcases their products as elegant yet sophisticated whilst maintaining a glamorous edge, and this is what I found in Connie and Samantha during our initial discussions for a line.

I have always wanted to design a line of my own shoes but I really wanted to wait and create something that would “shock and awe”, now I have been able to accomplish that dream. As this line is very special to me and the designers are from Australia I thought there was no better place to hold the World-Wide launch and surprise all of our V.I.P guests by unveiling the line for the first time on the night.”

In 2007, Price was announced as the new face of Foxy Bingo and launched a hair care range at Superdrug.

She also brought out her first perfume, ‘Stunning’, in August which was produced, distributed and marketed by Jigsaw ESL. Her second perfume, ‘Besotted’, was released in September 2008. November 2007 saw Price releasing her ‘Jordan’ hair care electrical range at Superdrug. There was a hairdryer, straighteners and curlers. She released a second, similar range in November 2008 under the name ‘Katie Price’, to somewhat differing design.

Katie Price’s third fragrance was called Precious Love.

In 2012, Katie attended The Girls’ Day Out Show on Friday 30 November to promote her perfume and do signings for her fans at The London Perfume Company stand.
