About

Sir Jason Kenny, recently retired from an illustrious career in track cycling, holds the title of Great Britain’s greatest Olympian with seven gold medals and two silvers. Known for his incredible success across four Olympic Games, Jason is now applying his expertise as the Podium Men’s Sprint Coach for the Great Britain Cycling team ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. He is also part of “Britain’s Golden Couple” with his wife, Dame Laura Kenny.

Career Highlights

• Olympic Achievements: Kenny has an exceptional record at the Olympics, having finished on the podium in every men’s sprint event since Beijing 2008. He won his first gold medal in the team sprint at the Beijing Olympics, setting a world record in the qualifying round. In total, he has accumulated seven gold medals and two silvers across his Olympic career.
• World Championships: Kenny made his world championships debut in 2008, where he finished fifth overall in the sprint competition.
