PrettyLittleThing names Indiyah Polack as its first marketplace ambassador in six-figure deal

Indiyah Polack named PrettyLittleThing ambassador - Booking Agent - The Celebrity Group

Love Island runner-up, Indiyah Polack has been chosen as the face of Pretty Little Thing’s online marketplace and already signed a six-figure contract to represent them.

According to the former waitress, she will be the “first ever” ambassador for PLT Marketplace, a resale-focused area of the fast fashion retailer.

Indiyah Polack announced the news on her Instagram just a week after fellow islander Gemma Owen revealed her signing as a brand ambassador.

Sharing the news on social media alongside photos from the marketing campaign, Indiyah Polack wrote: “I am the FIRST EVER ambassador for @prettylittlething Marketplace!!”

“This is a dream come true and I can’t wait to bring you all on the journey with me! 05.09.22 Watch this space.”

Past Project Runway, Indiyah Polack will be offering pre-worn clothing on the PLT Marketplace app so others can sell the things they no longer need and those without clothes to wear will have the opportunity to find them.

In another statement, she added: “As soon as I knew PLT wanted me to support this initiative and be the ambassador for the marketplace, where the focus is on re-wearing and re-selling which is something that’s important to me, I knew I wasn’t going to turn the opportunity down.

“I’ve taken my time coming out of the villa, ensuring I have the best management team on board to help me with my career, but I’m so excited we can finally announce this partnership and share it with everyone.”

After joining PLT’s new campaign last month, in one year Indiyah will star in a TV advert and help them to launch their new resale platform.

Umar Kamani, PLT’s chief executive officer, confirmed that it was always their intention to sign Indiyah, but it took time to arrange the lucrative collaboration.

Kamani told MailOnline: “Indiyah will be launching our new resale app as an exclusive seller. This was always our plan but due to hectic schedules, we were not able to confirm the announcements in the order that we planned.”

We can’t wait for this partnership to produce exciting results!
