Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp and Springboks Captain Siya Kolisi Team Up in Adidas
Supporters of Liverpool, the Sharks, and the Springboks have reason to smile. On YouTube, Siya Kolisi and Jurgen Klopp have been together in a number of breathtaking videos. For Adidas’ klopp x kolisi advertising campaign, the Reds’ head coach and the South African captain have paired up.
The videos show the German tactical genius Jurgen Klopp putting Kolisi through his paces. This included taking part in penalties, free kicks, and corner kicks among other things, as well as seeing the duo behind-the-scenes.
Kolisi was invited to one of Liverpool’s games at the end of that year after the Springboks’ 2019 Rugby World Cup victory in Japan elevated him to iconic status. Kolisi plays club rugby for the Cell C Sharks. Kolisi, who has a strong affinity for Liverpool, benefited greatly from this.
Outside of the rugby field, Siya Kolisi continues to have enormous popularity. According to Sports Brief, the Rugby World Cup-winning Springbok captain was photographed with his wife Rachel at the AXA Training Center of Liverpool Football Club in Kirkby.
Siya Kolisi served as the company’s brand ambassador during this promotional trip for Adidas South Africa. Kolisi and his Bok colleagues are currently in Europe for a difficult tour in November following what must have been a terrific vacation to the United Kingdom.
They played against Ireland (lost 16-19), France (lost 30-26), Italy (won 63-21), and will play England on Saturday in an effort to cap off an uneven season with a pleasing victory over a renowned rival.
