Charles Tyrwhitt and the New York Jets Form First Transatlantic NFL Brand Partnership in Menswear

Charles Tyrwhitt, a respected menswear brand with UK roots and operations in London and New York City, and the New York Jets have announced a multiyear partnership, under the club’s recently acquired expanded territory rights.
This is the first time an NFL club and a clothing company have partnered with UK rights since the league launched its International Home Marketing Area (IHMA) initiative in January 2022.
A collaboration between the Jets and Charles Tyrwhitt will unlock synergies in fan engagement, bridging a sport, style, and cultural connection between New York and London.
“These two iconic sister cities share a passion for Jets Football and a reputation for influencing global trends in apparel, business and lifestyle,” said Jeff Fernandez, the Jets Vice President of Business Development + Ventures. “So naturally we are very excited to lean into that with such a well-respected brand in Charles Tyrwhitt. We see great opportunity to unite our audiences and engage authentically on both sides of the Atlantic.”
Both Jets fans and Charles Tyrwhitt customers will benefit from the agreement, including special offers on Charles Tyrwhitt’s full range of menswear, Jets ticket giveaways, sweepstakes for fan trips, and player appearances.
A small collection of Charles Tyrwhitt branded Jets merchandise products is also in the works.
It is a great example of the linkage of powerful brands such as The Art of Style, a new Jets digital media brand, with presenters like Charles Tyrwhitt.
This series of short videos will feature Jets players, including Pro Bowler Braxton Berrios, sharing their style tips and opinions on dressing well.
Along with being a fan of Charles Tyrwhitt, Berrios also acts as a United Kingdom ambassador for the Jets. He will now serve as a columnist for The Art of Style, and that content will run across the Jets’ digital and social platforms.

The partnership was already evident at the Jets’ recent home opener, when Charles Tyrwhitt ads ran during the radio broadcast and branded digital signage appeared around MetLife Stadium.
The special offers and promotions by Charles Tyrwhitt also help make it easier for Jets fans to dress well throughout the year.
UK Jets fans will have the chance to win a trip to New York City to see a game, while US Jets fans will win a trip to London for a unique British experience.
Following its role as the awarding authority in the IHMA to provide marketing rights to the United Kingdom in 2022, the New York Jets are pleased to announce their upcoming first foray into clothing.
With the initiative, the 32 NFL clubs will have the chance to make bids to enter international markets, ultimately providing football opportunities to the global population.
