A Storied Playing Career
Ellery Hanley, known as ‘Mr Magic’ and ‘The Black Pearl,’ is one of the greatest rugby league players of all time. Across 19 years (1978–1997), he played for elite clubs including Bradford Northern, Wigan, Balmain, Western Suburbs, and Leeds.
