Playing Career

As a player, Edwards garnered widespread acclaim for his outstanding skills as a scrum-half or stand-off. He achieved unparalleled success in rugby league, earning the distinction of being the most decorated player in its history with an impressive tally of 37 winner’s medals. His illustrious playing career saw him represent esteemed clubs such as Wigan, Balmain Tigers, London Broncos, and Bradford Bulls, amassing a remarkable collection of championships and Challenge Cups along the way.

International Success

Edwards’s prowess on the field extended to the international stage, where he represented Great Britain, England, and Ireland in multiple Rugby League World Cups. His leadership qualities were evident from a young age, as he captained England at schoolboy level in both rugby league and rugby union, showcasing his versatility and tenacity as a player.

Coaching Career
