Gabby is a glamorous television and radio presenter and a former Wales international gymnast. She mostly hosts programmes for BBC Sport, mainly focusing on football.

Gabby Logan played netball for the school and at university, competed at high jump, but the peak of her sporting career was when she gained eighth place in rhythmic gymnastics representing Wales at the 1990 Commonwealth Games in Auckland.

After university she presented on Metro Radio in Newcastle, from where she was offered a job as a presenter on Sky Sports in 1996, working there until 1998, when she began working at ITV. And it was at ITV when Logan’s career really came to notice when she fronted the football program On the Ball.

Gabby went onto present ITV’s UEFA Champions League football coverage, including the 2005 and 2006 finals, and she has also presented other programmes including ITV’s 2005 Super Bowl coverage.

She writes regularly for The Times newspaper, and has also done a photo shoot for men’s magazine GQ.

Logan started presenting on BBC Sport on 27 January 2007, presenting the FA Cup fourth round tie between Luton Town and Blackburn Rovers.

Logan also made a few appearances on Match of the Day, covering for Gary Lineker.

In Summer 2008 she was one of the anchor presenters for the BBC’s coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. She was the main presenter for the evening primetime coverage.

In 2009 she took part in the BBC Wales programme Coming Home about her Welsh family history.

On 12 April 2009 she presented the BBC Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of St John’s Catholic School for the Deaf of which she is a patron.

In July 2009, it was announced that Logan would be the new host of Score results service, including Final Score, from the beginning of the 2009/10 football season, after the departure of Ray Stubbs to ESPN’s Premier League coverage.

Logan now fronts Inside Sport a sports news show, and covers live sport events. She has also worked on BBC Radio 5 Live, where she presented a lunchtime show from January 2010.

In December 2011, Logan was announced as part of the BBC television presenter line-up for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She is currently scheduled to present the post-BBC News at Ten to midnight daily round-up and review show from the Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
