Marie Guerlain joins NSPCC'S Executive Board for Art Ball

Artist and entrepreneur Marie Guerlain has joined the Executive Board for this year’s Art Ball by the NSPCC. The event runs annually and musters funds and support for the charity.

Last year, the ball raised £1.1 milllion for the Rebuilding Childhoods Appeal.

Marie, who is a mother of two, is a long-standing supporter of the NSPCC, particularly in child abuse cases. She is part of the sixth generation of Guerlain perfume and cosmetics and hopes to bring a creative flair to the Art Ball’s board.

Rich in character and charisma, Parisian born Guerlain is refreshingly alternative. Born into an iconic dynasty of a family, even as a teenager Guerlain, who was raised in London and Switzerland, opted to establish herself in her own right and trained at Chelsea College of Art and Parsons School of Design in New York.

Today, Guerlain’s work is celebrated, and her creative oath has come as no surprise to her family. She says, “My Mother says I was drawing before I was walking. I live and breathe my art. Creativity is part of me, everything in my life has to have some kind of creativity to it otherwise I am not satisfied.”
