As Pepsi’s latest brand ambassador, Vini Jr is the reigning UEFA Champions League champion.

Pepsi unveils its fashion collection, designed by the football-focused Art of Football.

Adding his own style to the collaboration, Vini Jr is the face of the campaign for the new Pepsi x AoF capsule, starting their new collaboration with Pepsi.

A celebration of Vini Jr’s global influence on and off the pitch, Vini Jr’s debut for Pepsi captures his passion for design and style.

Featuring an iconic reimagined kit first made famous by Pepsi 20 years ago, the campaign features bespoke garments from the Pepsi X AoF collection.

After starting on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil as a child and rising to prominence at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid, this Brazilian footballer, Vini Jr, epitomises what Pepsi has called Generation Thirsty.

When speaking on the latest announcement, Vini Jr says “In my role as brand ambassador for Pepsi, I want to represent a generation who aren’t afraid to express themselves and strive for greatness – in fashion, football or wherever you leave your mark on the world. I remember watching Pepsi commercials starring some of my biggest football idols growing up. Now, here I am today working with Pepsi to bring this amazing fashion collection to life – how cool is that?! I can’t wait for the world to see this collection and all the exciting entertainment experiences Pepsi and I are working on next!”

This new drop starring Vini Jr aims to unite fans across the globe by combining football and fashion which have long gone hand-in-hand.

The Art of Football is a brand in the UK and one of their aims is to celebrate the game’s culture through creating and showcasing original designs.

In anticipation of a cool winter of sporting events, Pepsi asked the brand to create a range that shines a light on its rich football history.

Out later this month, the retro-inspired pack pays homage to the company’s iconic shirt from 2000. It’s design made its first appearance 20 years ago.

There are three co-branded accessories in the collection: a bucket hat, shoulder bag, and tote, as well as a reimagining of Pepsi’s early 2000s football jersey seen in the brand’s recent “Nutmeg Royale” football campaign.
