Four Hills Tournament Winner and Olympic Champion
Sven Hannawald made history as the first ski jumper to win all four competitions of the Four Hills Tournament. A four-time world champion and Olympic champion in the team competition, Sven’s career was marked by exceptional talent. However, the pressures of success led him to retire in 2005 due to burnout.
After ending his ski jumping career, Sven explored other passions. He played football for Kreisliga club TSV Burgau and raced for Callaway Competition in the ADAC GT Masters series, finding success and enjoyment in motorsport. His autobiography, Mein Höhenflug, mein Absturz, meine Landung im Leben (My Highs, My Falls, My Landing in Life), was published in 2013. Since 2016, Sven has been a TV expert, initially with Eurosport and later with ARD. Alongside Sven Ehricht, he runs a management consultancy focused on company health and serves as an ambassador for the federal government’s mental health initiative, advocating for greater openness and prevention.
As a Corporate Health Ambassador, Sven provides valuable insights into stress and burnout prevention, healthy leadership, and integrating exercise and sport into both professional and personal life.
