David Brailsford CBE is a renowned British cycling coach and the current Team Principal and Director of Sport at INEOS. Known for his pivotal role in British cycling, he directed the British Olympic cycling team to extraordinary successes at the London 2012 Olympics. David’s expertise extends to his current position at UCI WorldTeam Ineos Grenadiers, where he applies his performance principles. He also works with French football club Nice and British football club Manchester United as part of his role with INEOS.

David’s journey began with an impressive stint as a competitive cyclist in France, followed by degrees in Sports Science and an MBA from Sheffield Business School. His career took off with Team GB, where he served as a consultant before rising to Programmes Director and then Performance Director. His strategic acumen was instrumental in Team GB’s cycling gold rush at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and their continued success in Athens 2004.
