Kriss began his athletic career in 1983 as a member of the 4×400 metre relay squad and is best remembered for winning Gold for Britain at the World Championships in Tokyo in 1991. By 1992, he had become a three-time Olympic medallist and a World, European, and Commonwealth Champion. For his outstanding contributions to athletics, he was awarded an MBE. Following his athletic career, Kriss transitioned to television, presenting popular shows such as The Big Breakfast, Record Breakers, and various children’s programmes.
