Natalie Pinkham
Television Presenter & Formula One Pit Lane Reporter
Natalie Pinkham is a British television presenter and renowned Formula One pit lane reporter for Sky Sports F1. She initially rose to prominence by hosting a variety of programmes and presenting from major sporting events. Pinkham first appeared on Live from Studio Five as a guest presenter and was a regular panellist on The Wright Stuff.
She also hosted the Isle of Man TT races for Men and Motors, reported from the Tennis Masters Cup for Sky Sports, and hosted Chelsea F.C.’s Blues News.
Pinkham’s broadcasting career spans multiple sports, including football, rugby, and beach soccer. Notably, she co-hosted ITV4’s World Cuppa during the 2006 FIFA World Cup alongside Christian O’Connell and Steve Bunce, and presented an internet World Cup show for Nobok Sports. She was also involved in the International Rugby Awards (2004), the SALSA fashion show (2004), and the Euro Beach Soccer League and Beach Soccer World Cup Draw (2006), where she worked alongside Eric Cantona.
Pinkham became the face of The Poker Channel, where she hosted the British Poker Open, the World Cup of Poker, and the Scandinavian Poker Awards with Mads Mikkelsen in 2007. She also filmed interviews with poker pros and presented coverage of the European Poker Tour for Challenge and Eurosport.
In 2011, Pinkham joined Sky Sports as a pit lane reporter for the 2012 F1 season, covering practice sessions, qualifying, and races. In 2013, she replaced Georgie Thompson as the host of The F1 Show and has since become an integral member of the Sky Sports F1 team.
In 2021, Pinkham made history by becoming the first woman to commentate on a Formula One session on British television when she led Sky’s commentary of first practice at the 2021 Bahrain Grand Prix, alongside Karun Chandhok and Jenson Button.
Throughout her career, Pinkham has co-hosted high-profile events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Goodwood Revival in 2009 and 2010, alongside Steve Rider and Craig Doyle. She also presented Channel 5’s Live from Studio Five and continued as a regular panellist on The Wright Stuff.
