Career Highlights:
Dharshini began her professional journey as a government economist, later transitioning to the trading floor at HSBC Investment Bank as their Senior UK Economist. In 2000, she joined the BBC as an economics correspondent, contributing to national news bulletins on BBC One, BBC News 24, and BBC World, and also presenting on Panorama.
In 2006, Dharshini moved to New York as BBC New York Business Presenter, where she reported on the emerging credit crunch from Wall Street and presented World Business Report. Two years later, she joined Tesco as Head of Broadcast, advising the board on broadcast media relations and providing media training for directors.
