Venus & Olay name Whitney Port as Ambassador

Former star of The Hills and The City, Whitney Port, has been named the face of the new Venus & Olay razor.

She’s an LA style icon who made a name for herself on reality TV show The Hills.

More recently, she appeared as a judge alongside Elle Macpherson on Britain and Ireland’s Next Top Model.

But judging by her latest campaign images, she is perfectly capable of giving the models on the famously fierce show a run for their money.

Whitney Port has been announced as the face and incredibly toned body of the new Venus and Olay razor, and looks every inch the supermodel as she poses for her latest job.

Described by the brand as the ‘personification of a modern Goddess’, Whitney has also been appointed a Venus Ambassador and is starring in the campaign images for the razor.

She comments, ‘I am honoured to be working with such an iconic beauty brand… I have always been a Venus fan, so when I heard about the new Venus & Olay razor I couldn’t wait to try it.’

The brand believe that Whitney exudes confidence, style and beauty inside and out and is the perfect collaborator for a brand that aims to inspire women across the globe to ‘reveal the goddess in you’.

In her role as Venus Ambassador, Whitney and her endless legs star in a series of striking shots to launch the new Venus & Olay razor which she describes as: ‘a match made in skin heaven’.

Speaking about the collaboration, the 28-year-old said: ‘I am honoured to be working with such an iconic beauty brand, renowned for celebrating the Goddess in every woman.

‘I have always been a Venus fan, so when I heard about the new Venus & Olay razor I couldn’t wait to try it.

‘The combination of Olay’s moisturising ingredients with Venus’ five-blade technology leaves my skin soft and glowing, making my legs the prefect accessory to any summer outfit.’

Whitney fills the shoes of Jennifer Lopez, who was the face of the brand in 2011.

The LA born star, who’s television career began back in 2006 when she was on the MTV show, The Hills, has since gone on to star in other shows, films, and released a style book in 2011.

She is also the designer behind the fashion line Whitney Eve, which counts Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian amongst its fans.

Her empty judging chair on Britain & Ireland’s Next Top Model has been filled by former X Factor judge, Dannii Minogue.
